it's a beautiful day!

Good day! This week has felt a little like I've experienced a transformation of sorts. Mainly I believe this is due to the fact that my clothes are feeling a little looser and that makes me a happy girl! I did skip out on exercise on Wednesday night and Thursday too but I walked the Lake Friday night with Hailey and a dear friend to make up for my laziness the previous too days. It was a good walk and it definitely goes faster when you have someone to chat with!

So I lost 6.4lbs this week - down a total of 26.4lbs - good bye never want to see you lbs again! Also, I've created another item to the side bar here on the right tracking my total weight loss. Boy oh boy do I love this blogging and tinkering with the layout, some of my schooling is coming back to me!

I had asked my therapist if it was considered binging when I have an "extra" snack after dinner. She asked if I was truly hungry - physically hungry. Of course, I'd just eaten dinner so the answer would be "no". Traditionally on Weight Watchers I like to save the bulk of my points for the evening so I can eat the most possible at the end of the day - my time and process for "de-stressing" from the day. So my therapist said that I shouldn't be eating when my body is not physically hungry. Since then I've been trying to spread my points out a little more evenly throughout the day and instead of a larger than average "snack" after dinner (still within points) I'm reserving points for a small desert and trying to refrain from additional food when I'm already full. I'm also going to have to come up with a new way to de-stress from my day. Exercise definitely helps and I've been really good about doing that 4-5 days a week after work. Now that it's nicer I'll be able to do more outside too like stuff around the yard and taking the dog for more walks - she will be so thrilled!

I'm going to workout after work this afternoon and then a friend of mine and I are planning on walking the lake again this evening. It's going to be a beautiful day so I'm looking forward to a nice walk with a good friend!
